Who is a part of STEE: YWCA

The YWCA’s Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Team is a survivor-led, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed team dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Rooted in racial and gender equity, the YWCA is committed to reaching those furthest from access while honoring the lived experiences of Black women and other marginalized survivors to ensure healing, safety, and long-term empowerment. Service delivery includes mobile advocacy, flexible assistance, emergency shelter placement, legal advocacy, and support with safety, relocation, and stabilization. The YWCA’s Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Team engages in systems change, community education, provider education, and cross-sector collaboration to break down cycles of silos and uplift survivor voices.
